Who we are
General Project Energy was born from the idea of some people who, with determination and constant commitment, decide to combine their synergies, professional experience, technical knowledge and entrepreneurial strength, to create and guarantee a high quality product and service , paying great attention to the constant improvement of business processes. One of the features that best distinguishes the G.P.E. is the high flexibility and attention paid to the different needs of customers and the market.
Services
General Projecy Energy collaborates with companies in the Energy, Naval, Steel, Cement, Pump and Compressor sectors, through the following services:
Provides new components on customer documents, drawings and specifications
Provides reverse engineering services using 3D laser scanning
Overhauling of components providing assistance to customer about applicable methodologies
Supplies and overhauls Fluid Film Bearings, and more specifically, pads, bushes and components with any type of anti-friction alloy, with a dimensional range from 20 to 2000 mm
Quality Control Activities by personnel qualified Level II for PT/UT/MT/V
Quality systems
General Project Energy has worked since its inception to obtain the UNI EN ISO 9001:2015 certification, to operate in a global vision applied to all company processes, both internally and for those entrusted externally to qualified partners. Certification that arrived in December 2021 and is now a flagship in GPE's quality system.
Raw materials: starting from the arrival of the material, carrying out visual, dimensional, non-destructive and documentary checks, to guarantee full compliance with the Quality Control Plans and maintaining the traceability of the material, throughout the production process.
Finished Products: manufactured according to the Quality Control Plans and according to the required standards and subjected to dimensional checks, 3D geometrical tests, Non-Destructive Tests performed internally by qualified 2nd level personnel, such as Visual Tests, Penetrant tests, Ultrasonic tests, Magnetic tests, tests pressure, insulation tests and making use of Accredia accredited laboratories (e.g. Sidertest Accredia), Destructive Tests are carried out, such as Hardness, Traction, Resilience and metallographic tests.
